Being a volunteer is a wonderful experience!  If you care about animals and their welfare, we have great ways to get involved.

We may not be able to solve all the world problems, but you can make a difference for the animals by using your talents and supporting our work.

Welcome our Volunteer Coordinator
We are so happy to have Laura Lyle on the Sunrise Sanctuary team!

Please review the items listed below, along with the calendar of  upcoming Volunteer Days.

Laura Lyle will:
1. match you up with our list of needs
2. schedule your time
3. be there while you volunteer

And, yes...  she is also a treasured volunteer.

Helping from home

  • Be a Fundraiser.  Have a fundraiser through your church, youth group, scouts, work, neighborhood... and have some fun with it!

(Donations can be tax deductible with a receipt, and
100% of funds go toward caring for the animals.)

  • Be a Grant Writer.  We have heard that we qualify for various grants and need help applying for them.

  • Have something else to offer?

Volunteer times are 10:00-1:30 (unless we finish earlier).

Please wear your grubbiest clothes, old boots, and bring your gloves.

We have fun while we work, and include lots of loving time with the animals.
